Initial consultation
At the beginning, an initial meeting takes
place. This allows you to form a personal impression of me and determine if a
trusting relationship can be established between us.
Typically, each session lasts 50 minutes, providing you ample space. During this time, you can describe your problem and express your expectations and wishes for therapy.
At the end of the session, we will discuss whether working together is feasible for both of us, and, if desired, new appointments can be scheduled.

Ongoing therapy
A therapy session lasts 50 minutes, unless
otherwise agreed. These sessions address past, present, and future issues.
Typically, my therapy sessions are conducted while seated and are
conversation-based.
Due to my training as an integrative therapist under supervision, I use creative media (drawing, clay work, painting), setups, imagination work, dreams, etc. However, this also depends on how you wish to engage with these methods. Regularly, I will review the agreed goals with you to assess if the situation has changed.

What does ‘Psychotherapist in trainings under supervision’ mean?
I am currently undergoing training as an
integrative therapist at the University for Continuing Education Krems. After
completing a propaedeutic programme in psychotherapy and making significant
progress in advance, as well as undergoing several screenings (to assess suitability as a psychotherapist),
psychotherapists have the competence to provide therapy in their own practices.
As part of my training, I am required to discuss therapy sessions with a supervisor. This serves both quality assurance and the review of the techniques and measures applied. Despite these discussions, I am committed to strict confidentiality, and the supervisor will not receive details regarding your identity.
Additionally, no reimbursement of costs by health insurance providers is possible during my status as a psychotherapist in training under supervision. To compensate for this, I charge the fee minus the average cost reimbursement, ensuring that you will not experience any disadvantages.
-
You can claim the therapy fee as an extraordinary burden (‘außergewöhnliche Belastung’) in your employee assessment (‘Arbeitnehmerveranlagung’) or income tax return (‘Einkommenssteuererklärung’).
